Our responsibilities to your employees and site (and to our own employees) are of paramount importance.

It is standard practice to undertake a thorough site inspection and risk assessment before any work is carried out. Any obstructions are evaluated and noted.

This could include:

• Pedestrian access doors
• Footpaths
• Electricity power lines
• Telephone lines
• Potentially slippery surfaces

Protective measures may include:

• Cordoning off areas
• Warning signs and cones
• Carrying out our work outside normal working hours

We are equipped to deal with all these protective measures.

Our legal obligations to Health and Safety is the minimum standard we work to and is the most important factor within our business.

For OUR Health and Safety

Employees

All of our employees undergo in-house training and each employee is made aware of the Health and Safety issues relating to their work. All new directives from the Health and Safety Executive are regularly communicated.

Equipment

Our equipment undergoes a regular maintenance inspection to ensure that it is in working order, safe and will produce the best cleaning results. It is checked prior to commencing a job and after completion of the job.

Environmental Policy Statement

Meadows Cleaning & Maintenance Ltd. recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in compliance with all legal requirements relating to the provision of contract cleaning and support services. It is the Organisation's declared policy to operate with and to maintain good relations with all regulatory bodies.

It is the Management and staff's objective to carry out all measures reasonably practicable to meet, exceed or develop all necessary or desirable requirements and to continually improve environmental performance through the implementation of the following:

• Assess and regularly re-assess the environmental effects of the Organisation's activities
• Training of employees in environmental issues
• Minimise the production of waste
• Minimise material wastage
• Minimise energy wastage
• Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials
• Reduce and/or limit the production of pollutants to water, land and air
• Control noise emissions from operations
• Minimise the risk to the general public and employees from operations and activities undertaken by the Organisation

The policy will be revised and updated on a regular basis.
